Our little family of three is made up of a Mummy (Jodi), a Daddy (Max) and a two-and-a-half year old little firecracker named Emmerson Lemon.
We were proud Torontonians for nearly 10 years, moving every year or two until 2007 when we dipped our toes into the real estate market and bought a townhouse. There we stayed until we found out there was a little Lemon to be added to our family. We traded the 2-bedroom townhouse in an "up and coming" area for an 80-year-old, 3-bedroom, semi-detached house in one of Toronto most sought after neighborhoods where we called home for three years.
It was a great three years living in such an amazing neighbourhood, but fate stepped in and offered us an opportunity to move closer to Grama and Grampa who are a huge (!!) help with the little Lemon, so we packed up our 1800 square feet and traded up for 2600 square feet and a whole lot more family within 5 minutes. Max continues to work in Toronto, as well as across the country, and I'm lucky enough be able to work part-time as a freelance writer, part-time at the cutest little children's boutique you can imagine, and also spend a few days a week at home with Emmerson!
How luck can one family get?
Here we are in Boston for our first family trip - May 2012!
